Emerson, Ga- The 15u Prime National team has jumped out to a 4-0 start vs some very stiff competition in their pool. They currently are in 1 st place in their pool with a deciding game tonight vs the VA Cardinals.
Pitching has been very good for the 15u Prime team with Dru Futch and Landon Mcdowell shutting down the SBG Sox in Game 1.
Game 2 saw Luke Rowland and Steele Burd shutting down a good hitting EBC team to get the 2nd win for the team.
Game 3 showcased Cade Sikes, Landon Schwartz and Landon Mcdowell beating a Canes Southwest team. Each pitcher kept runners to a minimum and had some strikeouts.
Game 4- Ben Roberts, Blaine Gregory and Nico Martucci closed to door on the Five Star team that swung the bats well.
Hitting and small ball have come alive for the Prime team as they are averaging 9 hits a game and have 45 hits in 4 games, a very big change from earlier in the summer.
Game 5 tonight at 7:15pm vs the VA Cardinals team who is 3-1.
